About Dr. Raff

Neil Raff, M.D.
is medical director at Advanced Medicine of Mount Kisco, P.C. He has specialized in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology for over 33 years. He graduated from Johns Hopkins School of medicine in 1961 and went on to complete his medical internship at NYU-Bellevue and medical residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Bronx VA Hospital. While serving in the United States Air Force (USAF) he became a member of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine, which integrates physical and psychological function ( the mind-body connection). Dr. Raff is Certified Nutritional Specialist (C.N.S.) whose ever-expanding interest in complementary medicine has led him to combine his professional medical practices with natural and nutritional therapies. Dr. Raff has appeared on various health and wellness shows, Gary Null’s radio show: Natural Living, and as a speaker at Gilda’s Club.

With his training as an Internist and Gastroenterologist, Dr. Raff created Advanced Medicine of Mt. Kisco in order to integrate the best of medical traditions, emphasizing nutrition and supplements to treat each person’s individual needs and deficiencies.

At each visit Dr. Raff follows through on his mantra “taking time to listen to the patient is the most important diagnostic test there is”, by providing a very thorough intake that helps him look at your whole body system, and how it is interacting.

Dr. Raff conducts specific tests in order to optimize biological functions. In this way, symptoms can be reduced and underlying imbalances can be corrected. The result is improved health, fewer symptoms, and less dependency on medications.
